Thank You Lord For My Friend


God looked down and saw my loneliness,
He said I need to send a friend to you,
One chosen from my friendship garden,
My flowers grow a friend's heart true.


He planted you in the pathway of my life,
I treasure the gift sent from heaven above,
God sent the best friend I could ever have,
Cheerful, helpful and most of all filled with love.


Thank you beloved Father for this friend so true,
Plucked from Your special garden's row,
Sent to earth to be my forever friend,
Where trust and love is rooted in heaven's glow.
