Sour
Cream
Apple

tablespoons
of
all-purpose
flour
1/4
teaspoon
of salt
3/4 cup
of white
sugar
1/4
teaspoon
of
ground
nutmeg
1 egg
1 cup of
sour
cream
1
teaspoon
of
vanilla
extract
3 cups
of
peeled
and
chopped
apples
1 - 9
inch
single
crust
pie
1/3 cup
white of
sugar
1/3 cup
of
all-purpose
flour
1
teaspoon
of
ground
cinnamon
2
tablespoons
of
butter
Stir 2
tablespoons
of
flour,
salt,
3/4 cup
sugar
and the
nutmeg
together
in a
bowl.
Combine
the egg,
sour
cream
and
vanilla
in
another
bowl and
mix
well.
Add the
egg
mixture
to the
dry
ingredients,
mixing
well.
Stir in
the
apples
and
spoon
mixture
into the
unbaked
pie
shell
and bake
in a
preheated
400
degree
oven 15
minutes.
Reduce
the
temperature
to 350
degrees
and bake
for 30
minutes
more.
Remove
pie from
oven and
increase
the
temperature
to 400
degrees.
Prepare
the
cinnamon
topping
and
sprinkle
over
pie.
Return
to oven
and bake
10
minutes
more.
Cool on
a wire
rack.
To Make
the
Cinnamon
Topping:
Combine
1/3 cup
of
sugar,
1/3 cup
of flour
and 1
teaspoon
of
ground
cinnamon
in bowl.
Cut in 2
tablespoons
of
butter
until
crumbly.
Did You
