Crockpot
Baked
Beans
1 pound
of dried
great
northern,
or navy
beans
2 medium
onions,
chopped
1/2 cup
of brown
sugar
1/4 cup
of
molasses
1/3 cup
of
catsup
1/4
pound of
salt
pork or
bacon,
diced
1
tablespoon
of salt
1 1/2
teaspoons
of dry
mustard
1/4
teaspoon
of black
pepper
Simmer
the
beans in
6 cups
of water
for 30
minutes.
Allow
the
beans to
stand,
covered,
for 1
1/2
hours or
until
softened
and
drain.
Put all
of the
ingredients
into a
crockpot
and add
1 cup
water,
stirring
to
blend.
Cover
the
crockpot
and cook
on LOW
for 10
to 12
hours or
on HIGH
for 5 to
6 hours,
stirring
occasionally.
