Burnsville Beef And
Macaroni Skillet
1 pound of hamburger meat
1-6oz. can of tomato paste
1-8oz. package of elbow macaroni uncooked
1/2 cup of chopped green pepper
1/2 cup of chopped onion
1-20oz. can of chopped tomatoes
1 cup of water
2 teaspoons of chili powder
1/2 teaspoon of allspice
2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon of shortening
Cook the hamburger meat, elbow macaroni, onion and the green pepper in
hot fat slowly until meat is lightly browned.
Add the remaining ingredients to the skillet and bring to boil.
Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes or until done.
